The Singing Garland
A musical pattern game with Melo

I'm stringing charms for the festival, and every charm sings its own little note. Can you see what comes next? My charms sing in a pattern: the same little group repeats, again and again. Find what repeats, and you'll know the next one too!

Pick your song
How to play
Look at the string of charms.
Find the part that repeats.
Pick the charm that comes next.
Listen to your string sing!
How do I find the next one?
Look along the string and find the little group that repeats. The group always sings in the same order, and that order never changes. So the next charm is the one that keeps the order going, every single time!
What the buttons do
- Play the string's notes again
- Turn sound on or off
- Make the game fill the screen
- Leave the game
Behind the music, this is a quiet pattern game. Your child looks at a string of charms, notices what repeats, and picks what comes next, at their own pace. There's no score, no clock, and no way to lose; a miss just floats back to the tray.
Little Hum suits first-timers around 4 with the shortest strings and simplest repeats, Village Song fits most 6 and 7 year olds, and Festival Song adds growing patterns for 8 and 9 year olds. The whole game is free, with nothing to buy and no account needed.
