The gentle hearts of the forest

Meet the Characters of Kittelfdora

In a magical forest hidden among the stars lives a family of gentle friends. They don't just live in stories. They help create them.

Aunt Tilda, the storyteller of Kittelfdora, standing in a golden garden with glowing lanterns and holding an open storybook, smiling warmly and welcoming you.

Your storyteller

Aunt Tilda

Aunt Tilda is the storyteller and host of Kittelfdora Kids, everyone's favorite kind of aunt. She's the one who welcomes you to the forest and introduces all the friends you'll meet here. Warm, gentle, and always glad you came, she likes nothing better than helping a little one feel right at home.

Hello, little star. I'm Aunt Tilda, and I'm the one who tells you all these stories. Come and meet Miri, Ori, and the forest friends waiting just below.

Every story is warmer when you're here to hear it.

Aunt Tilda, the storyteller of Kittelfdora, sits in a golden garden holding an open storybook and welcomes you warmly.

Oh, hello there, little star. Come and sit by me. I'm Aunt Tilda. I'm the one who tells all these stories. I was right in the middle of a good one when you found me. See? The book is still open. This forest is full of friends waiting to meet you. There's Miri, and little Ori, and all their gentle friends of the forest. So pull up a soft spot in the garden with me. Turn the page. Say hello to everyone. And stay a while for a story.

Who are the Elfcats? 🌿🐾

Little cats who sailed across the stars to find a home

Long ago, some little cats sailed across the stars on a ship made of wind, light, and love, looking for a home that would love them back. They found a forest hidden high among the stars, called Kittelfdora. But they were not alone there. Elves, fairies, dragons, and gnomes already lived in that forest, all together in peace. The little cats made friends with them. They curled up beside the elves, listened to the fairies sing, and heard the dragons dream. And slowly, from living so close and loving each other so much, something wonderful happened: the cats began to change. Little by little they became part cat and part elf, both at once. Their eyes grew more curious, their ears grew soft and pointy like an elf's, their tails curled up when they were happy, and their voices learned to hum with the wind. That is how the very first Elfcats were born. Now they can talk with animals and hear what the trees are whispering, and they keep every friend safe with kindness.

And here is the most special part. From their forest, the Elfcats can see all the way to our world, and they come to visit, quiet as a whisper on the wind. They are looking for kind children: the ones who love animals, who care for trees, who are gentle to every living thing. If that sounds like you, then they have been looking for YOU. Because being an Elfcat was never about the ears on your head. It's about what's in your heart. So maybe, little one, you are already one of us.

🌸 The Heart of Empathy and Calm

Miri

Miri is the big sister, part forest elf and part cat, so she has pointy elf ears and soft kitty ears too. Her eyes are bright violet, and her lilac hair is always in braids. Miri is the wise one. She thinks first, then she acts, the opposite of her bouncy little brother Ori. She's calm and kind, and helping is her favorite thing in the whole forest. Ask Miri a tricky question, and she'll sit quietly, have a good long think, and find a gentle way through.

  • Gentle heart: Being kind is her favorite kind of magic.
  • Listens to the wind: Her soft cat ears can hear the feelings you keep quiet inside.
  • Starlight wishes: She watches the stars at night and makes tiny, kind wishes.
“Kindness is my favorite kind of magic.”

Miri, a lilac-haired Elfcat girl with soft ears, waves hello from her forest tree house.

Oh! You found us. I'm Miri. I'm an Elfcat. Part forest elf, part cat. The ears are real. I live in a tree house, in Kittelfdora. A forest between the stars. My little brother Ori lives here too. Kindness is my favorite kind of magic. It's how you found us. So come on, little star. Play a game. Watch a story. Sing with us. And if you find Ori... tell him I'm looking for him.

Adventurous Elfcat Ori with teal eyes jumping into a mud puddle

🍂 The Spark of Joyful Curiosity

Ori

Ori is Miri's little brother, and his purple hair is always a bit messy from his last adventure. His teal eyes are always spotting something new: a beetle, a puddle, a mystery. Ori says "I can do it!" to everything. Sometimes he tumbles. He always pops back up, and every tumble turns into a giggle.

  • Brave explorer: New paths are his favorite paths, especially the muddy ones.
  • Mistakes welcome: Every "oops" is the start of a discovery.
  • Full of energy: He turns every game into a race, and every race into a game.
“If the path is messy and fun, I'm going!”

Ori, Miri's little brother, an Elfcat boy with messy purple hair, bounces into view calling out hello.

Hey! Hi! Over here! I'm Ori. I live up there, in the tree house, in a forest that sits between the stars. My sister says I never sit still. She is right. I like climbing, and puddles, and going the messy way, because the messy way is the fun way. So come on! Play a game. Watch a story. Sing loud. I'll race you.

Melo, the elf music teacher of Kittelfdora, with cyan-blue hair, a green star beanie and softly glowing ears

🎤 The Heartbeat of Kittelfdora

Melo

Melo keeps the beat for the whole forest. He taps the rhythm with his hands, and his ears glow when a song comes near. Clap with Melo, hum with Melo, stomp your feet. He'll help you find the beat that's already inside you, the one that makes you want to dance.

  • Taps the beat: He keeps time with his hands: clap, clap, stomp!
  • Glowing ears: They light up when a song comes near.
“Every heart has its own rhythm. Let’s find yours.”

Melo, the elf music guide with cyan-blue hair under a mossy green beanie, smiles at the camera while his ears glow softly.

Oh. Listen. Do you hear that? Ba-dum. Ba-dum. That is your heart, keeping time. I'm Melo. I look after the rhythm here, in Kittelfdora. My ears glow when a melody comes close. They are glowing right now. Every heart has its own rhythm. And yours is not quite like anyone else's. So come on. Clap with me. Sing with me. Let's find yours.

Petal, a small round creature with pink and yellow petal-shaped fur and big purple eyes, standing among glowing flowers in the Slow Garden

🌼 The Gentle Breathing Friend

Petal

Petal is a small, round friend who lives in the Slow Garden, where everything grows nice and slow. She's about the size of an apple, with soft fur shaped like pink and yellow petals. Petal talks very little. Mostly she breathes with you. When your feelings get big and fast, she breathes with the flowers, slow and soft, and you can breathe along with her until the big feeling starts to feel smaller.

  • Breathes with you: Match your breath to hers, slow and soft, and big feelings start to settle.
  • Lives in the Slow Garden: A quiet, gentle place where nothing ever has to hurry.

Petal, a small round creature with pink and yellow petal-shaped fur and big purple eyes, sits among glowing flowers in the Slow Garden.

Oh. Hi. It's me, Petal. Let's take one slow breath together. Breathe in... and out. There. This is the Slow Garden. Nothing hurries here. Breathing won't make a big feeling go away, but it can help it feel a little smaller. Stay soft, little one.

Grandpa Barnaby on his blue crystal tractor at the cosmic farm

🚜 The Wise Guardian of the Cosmic Farm

Grandpa Barnaby

Grandpa Barnaby lives out where the lavender fields sparkle, and he drives a big blue crystal tractor. He's never in a hurry. He plants a seed and waits, and waits, and smiles while it grows. Seeds take their time, he says. So do feelings. So do little ones like you.

  • Never in a hurry: On his farm nothing gets rushed. Things grow when they are ready.
  • Blue crystal tractor: The gentlest machine in the whole galaxy.
“Everything grows in its own time, little one.”

Grandpa Barnaby, an elderly elf-kitten with round spectacles, a white beard and a straw hat, greets the camera from his cosmic farm.

Well now. Look who found the farm. I'm Grandpa Barnaby. I look after this old cosmic farm, out where the lavender grows. I planted a seed this morning. It is still a seed. That is exactly right. Seeds take their time. So do feelings. So do little ones like you. Everything grows in its own time, little one. Come and walk the rows with me. Something new is always coming up.

Twillan Mosswhistle, the playful explorer of Kittelfdora

🧭 The Explorer of Mistakes

Twillan Mosswhistle

Twillan gets lost on purpose! That's his favorite way to find new things. He took a wrong turn this morning and found a pond full of singing frogs. When something goes wrong, Twillan doesn't say sorry. He says "oops!" and goes to see where it takes him.

  • Collects wrong turns: Every wrong turn is a treasure map to somewhere new.
  • Says "oops!" and grins: When something goes wrong, he smiles and goes to look.
“Lost? Perfect!”

Twillan Mosswhistle, a cheerful forest gnome with a green moss beard and a mushroom-covered mossy hat, laughs at the camera.

Oh! Hello! Are you lost? Lost? Perfect. So am I. On purpose. I'm Twillan Mosswhistle. I collect wrong turns. I took one this morning. It led me to a pond full of singing frogs. I would never have found them going the right way. So when you get something wrong today, do not say sorry. Say "oops!" Then come and see where it takes you.

Luma, the wise and quiet guide of Kittelfdora

🌙 The Guardian of Stillness

Luma

Luma is a soft, glowing owl who loves the quiet. She looks after all the still, sleepy places: the calm pond, the cozy corners, the moment right before a dream. Sit with Luma and listen. There are tiny, gentle sounds hiding under the quiet, and she can help you hear them.

  • Loves the quiet: She can sit as still as a moonbeam.
  • Hears tiny sounds: The soft little sounds hiding under the quiet? She hears them all.
“Shhh. The quiet has something to tell you.”

Luma, a glowing white owl spirit with violet eyes and softly lit markings, hovers quietly in a moonlit forest.

Oh. Hello. Shhh. Not because you are loud. Just... listen for a moment. Do you hear it? That small, soft sound underneath everything. I'm Luma. I look after the quiet places here. The still pond. The moment just before a dream. The quiet has something to tell you. It is always kind. Stay with me a moment. Then go and play.

Brindle Fernflicker, healer and storyteller of Kittelfdora, with a magic lantern

🏮 The Light-Bringer

Brindle Fernflicker

Brindle is a little wildcat who carries a glowing lantern down the dark paths. Here's his secret: he still gets scared, every single time. But brave doesn't mean you're not scared. Brave means taking one small step anyway, with your light held high. Brindle takes that step, and so can you.

  • One small light: Even the tiniest spark can chase away the dark.
  • Brave even when scared: He feels afraid, lifts his lantern, and steps anyway.
“Even the smallest spark is enough to scatter the greatest darkness.”

Brindle Fernflicker, a small brindle-striped wildcat in a green tunic, holds up his glowing lantern and smiles at the camera.

Oh, hello there. Come closer, where the light is. I'm Brindle Fernflicker. I carry this lantern down the darker paths. Can I tell you a secret? I still get scared. Every time. Brave does not mean you are not scared. Brave means one small step anyway, with your light held up. Even the smallest spark is enough to scatter the greatest darkness. Yours is already glowing.
